Last week we made a volcano. We made it out of a water bottle, newspaper, and glue. Then we painted it and made a village out of clay. We mixed baking soda and vinegar with food coloring to make it explode. My dad poured the vinegar in and it got everywhere. It was really cool!
Dear Lydia,
ReplyDeleteYour volcano looks great! I bet you had fun making it. Did it make a huge mess when it blew? Who had to clean it up? Your Dad even looks like he is learning something at school too. You kids are very lucky you are having so much fun and learn at the same time. Grandpa Wyatt wants to know what you get to do for recess? That is what he liked best about school. We love you kids.
Love & Kisses, Grandma & Grandpa
p.s. I talked Grandpa into going with us to the cabin to stay all night when you kids come stay with us. Does that sound like fun? It will be the first time Grandpa has even seen it. Be thinking of what meals you want to eat when we go. We could even take pumpkins to carve while we are there! XO
Dear Lydia,
ReplyDeleteGrandpa Wyatt and I keep checking your blog to see if you've written again. We can't wait for your next post. Please write about your "AMAZING RACE" or about what other fun things you are learning. We LOVE reading your reports too. Only two more days until you kids get to come stay with us. I can't wait!! Grandpa is a little worried about having/getting to stay at the cabin. He keeps asking me "Now, when are we going & how long are we staying". I keep reminding him that it will only be for 24hrs. He can be away from the farm and cattle for 24hrs. This morning he said he was worried about the little "skiff of snow" keeping us from going. Silly grandpa! I told him that we could hike in.
Love you, Grandma Carole
